Sounds like she needs exercise and activity. If she is spending all day in the crate while you are at work, all night in the crate, when does she have activity? Expecting a baby, I imagine you are busy. The dogs are probably picking up on that too.
Relative to the potty problems that started 8 months ago, is that about the time that your focus changed and maybe you were thinking baby? Dogs are very tuned in to their humans and react to changes.
Is she getting adequate opportunity to get outside and potty?
