They really are stunning trees. I always imagine the big ones have quite a story they could tell with what they've seen pass by over the years. I know they sure can give a person the creeps when you are fishing on a river and all you hear is the slight rustle of the cottonwood leaves, water topped with floating cotton, snakes, and trees webbed together with spiders as you slowly float along waiting for a bite with the feeling that someone is up there along the banks........watching you.....
I feel like someone should jump out and yell "BOO!" right about now. LOL....
