Were you given pain meds for him? Max was really uncomfortable his first night and had to have pain meds after the ones he had at the office wore off.
Our vet recommended half or less of regular dinner. As Mike wrote above, if he doesn't eat, don't worry. Just make sure his gums stay moist and pink and try to get him to lap up a little water through the eyedropper or off of your finger.
