Firstly, to be clear, I do not cook anything. All is fed raw. Cooking bones risks splintering. Do not feed cooked bones.

The salmon I feed is Atlantic Salmon. I would not feed Pacific NW Salmon due to the risk you describe.

The reason I feed beef heart is that it is very nutritious and very affordable. I save the good stuff for me...

The reason I feed pork riblets is that they are the perfect meat to bone ratio for my dog and they are also very affordable. I feed pork heart for the same reason.

I feed no other supplements and no vegetables or carbs of any kind. Many will normally just add fish oil daily. I choose to feed plenty of oily fish. Either works.
