One puffy eye? Is she scratching it...is it red around the lid? Dogs w/ allergies will often scratch their eyes, break a tiny amount of skin (may not be able to see it), and the area is easily infected. You do need to go back to the vet since it's the eye...I know the $$ part is tough.
Simplicef is a great med for skin issues! Often, they'll take it for a full month. Hopefully, all of this skin stuff is just from fleas - and not from a pollen/enviro allergies...those are a pain!!
