It's always worse when there are other neighbours etc. to consider - you feel so guilty about waking/upsetting/annoying everyone - and everything sounds 10x louder in the dead of night?!!
In that situation - what I would do is to bring the whole crate into your room tonight with the crate door shut. A sharp 'shush' or 'no' if she starts moaning

. Don't give in. I would do that for a couple of nights, then move the crate outside your bedroom door, with your bedroom door open so that she can still see you, but can't get to you. Does that make sense - as a start?
