Diapers are inadequate. The male will easily tear through the diaper if he wants to get to your female.
I'm not sure what the right thing would be to do, other than keeping them physically separated when you cannot be right on top of them. It can happen very quickly.
I'm sure the breeders will have more suggestions. Try posting in the breeding forum.
