If it is an AKC show, they rule that only dogs entered in the dog show can come into the show area. Close to the
rings. However with that said, it depends on how strictly the club that is
giving the show adheres to the rules. Unless the people with
the obvious unentered dog are posing a threat to others or their own dog,
nothing is said. In other words, if the dog looks unkept and unhealthy, you
will be asked to leave. Or in the instance of a tiny Yorkie, lets say you
had your furbaby on a lead on the floor where one of the big dogs going by
could grab him, you would be asked to leave. Some shows you will not even
be allowed in the door with a dog unless you have an exhibitors pass. It just
depends on the club giving the show.
