Here's the final update from our trip, which I am doing at home on the pc. Much easier. Fri we hit the outlet malls up. No problem, see earlier post. Sat, we rode the dragon, Route 129, 318 curves in 11 miles. She seemed to enjoy it. To see our picture you can go to moonshinephoto.com, Cruz A page 20 row 2-20. Pic 6 is the best. I will be ordering. So we stopped at Deals Gap, which everyone that rides does. Bought her a couple of 6 month tees, which I'm gonna have to take up. Wish I would have gotten her a patch to sew on her jacket that she survived the Dragon. Might order her one. Sunday, we rode up to Clingmans Dome, Cheerokee NC, and thru Townsend. Bella got about 250 plus miles in. She was great traveling in the truck. I couldn't have asked her to be any better. I think the most unnerving part of the trip was taking her out for her last potty break of the night. Dark, in the mountains, and there are bears. LOL So I always checked the area around our cabin before leaving the deck and kept her leash short, just in case. Yesterday morning when I took her out for the morning potty break, I had noticed we in deed had a visitor during the night, the steel trash bend was bent up pretty good and a trash sack was pulled out. She certainly made our trip more enjoyable cann't wait to do it again. BTW, we never made it to any of the restraunts that were mentioned above. Gotta be pet friendly, I didn't want to make Bella feel like we carried her off a few hundred miles and dump her in a cabin that she didn't know. |
