Harley likes to bark at other dogs, its a new thing that drives me nuts, so anyway when we go for walks it's a big fuss the make sure that he doesn't bark. (he's training for agility and I can't bare to bring him on the grounds if he barks like that all day).
So one day we were walking in the park, it was an off leash part, but I always keep him on leash with me so I can grab him if need be. and I saw these two loose dogs coming towards us, they were big. So I picked Harley up. Well the little guy decided he was going growl and mock these big dogs as we walked by. I observed the dogs as they came closer, I knew they were good dogs, very pleasant relaxed and happy, so mid growl I bent over and stuck him on the ground...
That was the look on his face.... when he realized these dogs were coming to say hi.
he didn't bark much the rest of the walk... lol
(Don't worry I wouldn't have done that if I sensed those dogs weren't old and relaxed, I'm not that cruel).
