Reputable breeders and members of YTCA (the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America) agree yorkies should not be placed before the age of 12 weeks due to their size and potential for hypoglycemia. I have to wonder what kind of breeder this pup came from to have been placed at a young age and to have been neutered, as well. Most reputable breeders will not neuter before at least 6 months of age. Is this pup AKC registered?
