I can understand your concern. I had a dog once that caused so much stress in the household. I'm sure you've tried everything. Have you considered a behaviorist or seeing if there is a health issue that hasn't been addressed yet?
There are lots of methods to potty training. Does Lucy go outdoors or on potty pads? Have you tried litter box training Abbie to see if that will eliminate at least some of your concern? Because we don't want her going on the carpet?
