I don't leave the house too much now a days, and usually I take both mine with me. This summer being the exception, given how hot it is. Then, it's usually for an hour or less.

I'm sure they sleep, but, they have toys, and the complete run of the house and back yard. I have a Doggy Door, and a very large secure outside area. When leaving and coming back, both go to the upstairs window, look out and I can see them barking, as they view me.

I hate to leave them behind, but, at these tempratures... no way.
