I talked to one of the trainers at PetSmart this weekend about their puppy classes this past weekend. She said that as long as the pups have all of their shots, they are good to go. She said most pups start around 4 months at the earliest in her classes.
Max is 7 months now, but she said he could go in either the puppy class or the beginner class - which ever I though was best for him. A lot of the classes starting next month were empty, so she said if I let her know which class I wanted she could limit the size of the class and/or the size of the pups in the class. She seemed to be genuine about getting the right class for Max.
Now if I can just get Max to Petsmart without him throwing up in the car
