I do it myself. I purely hate it to tell the truth.....but I do it.
I was trained by my vet. Instead of bringing them in and exposing them to everything, I was encouraged to do it myself.
I improvise a bit, I dont do the bone crusher instrument.......UGH!!
I simply use sterilized new scissors with quick stop on hand.
There is nothing pretty or pleasant about it EVER. It never gets good for me.
After its done Im always so glad. 3 to 5 days after birth is the best time, their nervous system is not fully developed and they feel less, or so they say.
..............those puppies know what a circumcised lil boy feels for sure!!!!!
