It kills me when I think of what she must have been through. In spite of it all, she is the most loving and sweet pup. She follows me everywhere and when I pick her up she puts her little head against my chest. It breaks my heart.
That incision freaks me out...to think that infection was all through her neck like that.

In the couple of weeks that she was being treated by my vet the left side looked like it was getting better. It was when she started getting open wounds on the other side that we knew it was brewing underneath it all. The vet at A&M said that dog bites are like that....they keep injecting under the surface. She said it is like looking at the tip of an iceberg when you see it....you just cannot see what is going on underneath it all. She also was so unbelievably emaciated... I don't know how she had the reserve to survive it all.
