What is your bright suggestion as to what he was supposed to do?? I would have expected an adult, a parent, to be smarter. As a matter of fact it was cold and my son was shivering when he got into my car. If you were paying attention I said my son was kinda shy. He would have never asked to go home or something. It wasn't really the problem that he was wet and his clothes were wet. My issue was that they were out there at all. I wonder what the other parents thought when they picked up their kids. They werent just wet they were soaking dripping wet. Forget it, it's fine, I really was over for me. I have bigger fish to fry.
