His breeder had several females and one male and they would have company come over to socialize with the pups. That could be a huge reason why he has been such an easy pup. Any puppy is going to be a LOT of work, in the beginning. Everything is soooo completely new.... I had "5" days off after picking Riley up and after going back to work was able to come home for lunch every day for months.... I was worried about separation anxiety and worried about him crying and/or barking in my condo building.... and although it was really hard to leave him.... I would leave him for like an hour or two at a time.... and let him know I would Always come back. He really didn't have any problems. He really picks up on any new routines, etc. really quickly.
Sometimes, now, on the weekends or when I have a day off, I think that he is thinking: Mommy!! Will You Just Go Somewhere So I Can Get Some Sleep!!
