Do you have blankets in there? I recently switched out Kaji's old tent with the new one. I placed all his old "dirty" blankets into the new house with his usual toys. He took to it quicker than I expected. Just fill the new safe place with familiar items and smells and keep it in the exact same spot. I'm sure your pup will be fine!
