You have no idea what you are taking on in taking this little one home at 9 weeks. They are not yet properly socialized, haven't yet learned dog manners they learn from mum. What worries me the most is your determination it will be that certain weekend with no regard to the best interest of the pup and the obvious lack of what is in the best interest of the pup on the part of the breeder in letting it go to anew home is also a huge concern.
If you are not available any other weekend you better get used to an instantaneous schedule change in caring for you pup. First they cannot be left on their own for too long a time perion of the day.
I don't do first vacc's until 10 weeks. Has this one had any yet?
