Zhoie sleeps with us, but if I leave the house, I just don't see her liking not being in her house.
We had an x-pen up when she was a pup and I had to run out or something, but she would still gravitate to her house. Working from home, I'm never gone very long and even if I leave the door open, she is still there when I come back. I actually have to say "ok" when I come home and then she'll come running. Funny how they develop their own little quirks
We did get the folding travel x-pen and that worked out great for vacation.
