I give Kiko a bath every week or two. Her hair is silkier and tangles less when she stays washed and conditoned. I do have to be careful to make sure the shampoo and conditioner get rinsed all the way out or it irrates her skin a bit (skin gets flaky).
Sometimes a dog's skin and coat dries out if they are washed frequently. I suppose it depends on breed, products used, and the individual dog.
I would suggest washing at whatever interval you are comfortable with, just keep an eye out for dry skin/coat (this is, of course, just my opinion). |
