When you say horrible noise~do you mean the sound of a dog fight? Did you also hear the Yorkie attacking that Maltese? Dog fights should be immediately addressed. Mine have has an occasional spat but they immediately stop when with a firm "enough!" from me. Was this the first time the Maltese was attacked? If not how often is this happening and have you see the fights start? Are they both spayed?
