I have a lot of DVD's from UK (where I am from - Yorkshire Gal). I bought a DVD player in the states and had them reprogram it to play dvd's from any region. It is a simple reprogram if you know how to get to the menu for it. I did not, so I ordered it on-line. It ran me about $25.00 more to have it modified.
