I love my simmons beauty rest. We had a queen (pillow top) for about 11 years and about 5 years ago decided to move up to a king size (it's a plush top), both are great. Mine weren't any more expensive then similar sets from other companies, but I bought them from the Navy Exchange, maybe they are priced better than in regular retail stores.
I agree with other posters that you should lay on the bed and "nap" for a little bit before you decide.
