Ugh.... you tried everything you could. I can't even imagine witnessing that.
I almost hit a dog about 10 mins down the road from my house and I stopped and pulled over, had a treat in my hand, but he just ran the opposite direction. Went off into the woods... I stayed there for a few minutes, but at that point, I guess there's not much you can do
And just two weeks ago, I was on a REALLY busy road with 3 lanes and this dog was just walking along side of it.... I was sooo scared it was gonna get hit, pulled over, there was barely any room on the shoulder, and he ran right out into traffic!! UGH
I was sooo upset and just cringing the whole time. Lost track of him... but I can't believe NOBODY else stopped. It makes me so upset. If that were my dog, I'd hope to God someone would stop and TRY to help...
