If you have a yearning for puppies, you should see if there is an organization near you that fosters puppies for service dogs. You may not be able to foster a yorkie puppy, but I know near me the Canadian Dog Guides are always looking for good fosters for service puppies first year. Many of the dogs are larger for example labs and retrievers, but there are also smaller poodles being bred to be service dogs. And I know here as well, you can often foster whelping moms and their litters for rescue organizations. They would probably love to have your help, seeing as you have already had some breeding experience.
