Gizmo is almost 5 months old, he is just the greatest little guy ever. We got him from a lady that told her young kids that they had to take care of him when that didn't last they where looking to find him a new home. So we got him when he was 4 months old. He is great and my girls love him, even our 1 1/2 yr old great dane cuddles with him. When we got Gizmo he was pad trainned, skinny, not been to a vet, and starting to get matts.
So in the month since he has been with us, he has been to the vet, clean bill of health. Put on a little weight he is 4#. I am just really having issues with brushing him. I had a schnauzer years ago, know how important brushing and grooming is, I did all the grooming on my schnauzer. I just can't get him to stop attacking the brush. Even if I just lay it next to us when we are playing or cuddling he will go nuts, bitting and barking at it. His hair on this pads is growing so long if he runs on our tile floor he slips all over. He is bitting at the sissors, or clippers, I don't want him to hurt himself. Any ideas!!!
Also he is wee wee pad trainned, which is great, and he uses it all the time. He will not go outside. I put a pad outside and he still will not. I didn't have an issue with this until earlier this week when the Great Dane desided he wanted to use the wee wee pad. Didn't work the best, Don't need a dane peeing in the house. We can take the yorkie outside for hours and he will do nothing, take him in the house and he goes right to his pad

Any ideas here. He goes 7-8 hours at night in bed with me no problems. He has the control. He is also kennel trainned, does fine in there also. Its a big kennel room to move.
