I was talking to Ruth Genkins one time..I asked her this same question. How could I do better when no one would help me? She said she did allow pet breeders to use her Ch. Gentries Jubliee Eagle to imporve their lines. It is all a matter of getting to know breeders and earning their trust...and I know areas of the country are different. PLUS, what some say they do and what they actually do are two different things. Many are afraid to say they let pet breeders use their males..afraid of being talked about.
People are going to talk about you in the dog world, so you might as well do as you please and please yourself.
