Ditto, we brought Gizmo home in Sept 2005 and in Dec.2005 we brought Maddy home I too had second thoughts but they love each other...it's so cute to see them together Maddy follows Gizmo around like a little sister she is even though she is bigger than him and he's 6 months!!! They do get in their little squabbles sometimes but that's just nature! Good luck in whatever you decide!!
