This is what I do as well after Doodlebug has a reaction as a puppy. He now gets his rabies every three years and we skip the others after a lengthy discussion with my vet. The other two are vaccinated with a three or more week time span after the rabies. We have not had any issues doing it this way. Everyone gets a Benadryl before their shots.
