I have read on this site a few times to make sure and find a vet that specializes in small breeds of dogs. How do you go about finding such a vet? Do you just start calling vets out of the phone book and asking? I live in the western suburbs of Chicago (if anyone has a recommendation) and I would prefer finding a vet that would know more about my Yorkie and Maltese than the average vet.
