Default Patching a Hole

My heavens, when it rains it pours !
I'm so sorry for the loss, those kids really must be sad.

I know this may not be the time for a suggestion, but...

Often times when I find a hole or nearly in a place like that, I have a small bag of Concrete. I just get an old Coffee Can, put a couple scoops of Concrete in it, then a little water, stir, and just pour/spread it in the low place to sort of fill the hole.

Then push some dirt on top of it. You don't even need to let it dry, it'll do that by it's self. And then the Grass just grows over it and covers it up, and you have a "foundation" they can't dig through then.
