I can't tell you how to cure this behavior but I am hopeful that someone replies to your post. I have a similar problem with my male. He is usually sweet and affectionate but for some reason if there is someone in a room and I enter the room he will go after the person's legs. It could be my husband, daughter or anyone in my home. It obviously has something to do with protecting me. I should add that he is affectionate to my hubby and daughter otherwise. It's just strange.
We are working on it since we recognize the behavior.
Deuce is almost 2 years old.
