Default New to YT & looking forward to getting to know ya'll

Good evening everyone. I came upon this site a while back, acquired some very useful information, and find myself returning to the forum often enough to join the YT community

A little about us... 17+ years ago my husband and I purchased a female yorkie puppy, Tanna, from a home/hobby breader. She was our baby before we had children, and lived 15 wonderful years with us. About a year ago I began the search to find another yorkie to join our family. I watched the local ads, petfinder, and other rescue sites closely; but I took a very unsettling conversation with a foster mom, as a sign that rescue wasn't for us. I checked local ads, visited breeders in their homes, and (last February) met a hobby breeder who (due to her husband's health and her own) was relocating and ready to part with some of her older furbabies. I fell in love with two of her females...

That brings me to Tillie and Bella. Bella had one litter.. Tillie none.. I had them spayed asap. Soon to be three year old females (different moms, same dad), since the day I brought them home, they have followed me around like I've always been their mom. Getting to know their personalities has been a great experience, and they are already protective of our two children. We've had a few little bumps along the way, but we have meshed together well, and I feel blessed to have them as part of our family
