Just make sure to have pre-op bloodwork done and discuss the anesthesia protocol with your vet. There is a sticky post in this health section about both bloodwork and anesthesia.

I cried like a baby too!
He was 3lbs when he got his done, and he was just fine. I was a nervous wreck before he went in because of the anesthesia.
The vet in the mobile clinic said.."hun, I do this everyday ALL day long...he will be fine."
It totally put me at ease.
