Alot of toy breeds retain baby teeth. If all of the adult teeth are in when you take her for a spay then the baby teeth can be pulled if they have not come out on their own.
Mina's adult teeth were not completely in when she was spay and my vet didn't want to keep her under for as long as it would take to pull 4 baby teeth and spay. So she will have to go back in several months for the baby teeth to be extracted. |
