You will also need to treat your house with bleach and any potty areas in your yard. Parvo can live in the soil for years, and on surfaces for months. It can be brought in on shoes, hair, fur other, etc. Once in your home, you will have a hard time getting rid of it, and any future dogs you have will be at risk.
