Harley was groomed several times by the breeder before I got him (more to get him used to the noises than actual grooming). She came to my house two weeks after I got him and taught me how to groom, and he's been done every 2ish weeks since. I def recommend getting some clippers and scissors and just getting the dog used to having the noises around them, before you even send them to the groomers. That way they aren't scared when you do have their vaccines done and they can go. As a pup I would just turn the clippers on and rub the back of them along his body, so he got used to the vibrating tickle. He now only takes 15 minutes at the groomers for a full groom and trim (he's in a long coat).
