I finally got Abby to the vet for her spay consultation. She is going to get spayed on Oct 14th. I was concerned about having her done because they keep them overnight and there is no one there. So I explained that I wasn't comfortable with Abby being left unattended and they said I could sign a waiver and she can come home that night as long as I could keep her from getting too wild. I am going to try to get Riley done that week as well this way neither of them will feel 100%. Then they will both be done and I won't have to worry about heats or puppies.
How long will they have to stay confined? A few days or a few weeks? Neither of them have ever been crate puppies. Can they still sleep with me?
