Aww....Toby is a cutie. I know some owners prefer a very close cut to keep grooming time to a minimum. So, it's really a matter of personal preference and how much time you are willing to devote to daily grooming as to how long a coat you'll keep on Toby. With daily brushing you'll avoid matting, and the next groomers trip should only be for a trim.
