I am not crazy about Science Diet and if you do a search on YT you will find many, many threads on what to feed your Yorkie. There are also many threads on the shampoo/conditioners we all use.

I don't know why someone would tell you not to use conditioner on your puppy but most of us do as it helps to straighten their coats out after the shampoo process, just like a humans.

Oatmeal shampoo will help with the dry skin and I would also use a conditioner.
