They are tiny and yes right against the skin, all my recent grooming's have been rushed and in all honest half-a$$ed because of my full plate.

So when I brushed the top of the hair looked great but I obviously wasn't being thorough enough.

Elvis has a very curly cottony coat & Princess is a "mega coat" miniature schnauzer. During the humid summers here both of them curl & fro so much. Not to mention they've been wild back yard beast in the sun.

Edit: I use the Madan gold large comb right now but I can tell they don't enjoy it at all, guess we'll tough throuygh it literally and consider this a lesson learned.from minimomo
