I thought CT was bad, but the bay area is really bad. A 3 bedroom in my area runs about 275k-400k. Many places are much much higher (near Manhattan - Greenwich/Westport area - millions) and a few places are much lower right inside the cities, but suberbs are about 275-400.
It's really terrible, we are also the higest taxed state in the country, but they say the pay scales are very high here too, so I guess it all evens out |
