I don't know what "pain meds" other vets are sending home with their patients but I looked up the name of the medication my vet gave to Gracie. It was an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen (advil). I gave it to her the second day after her surgery but not after that. It is very irritating to the stomach and she was not eating much. I did not want to hurt her belly by giving it to her on an empty stomach. |
