Dixie is dixie because we live on a farm and are born and bred country. I thought that dixie was a good country name. Also, my boyfriend is a huge dukes of hazzard fan and Daisy Duke's jeep was named Dixie so I thought that a duke's name would soften the blow of me bringing her home without him knowing
(we already had a Daisy and a Duke in the past so I went with Dixie)
