If she has begun chewing on things that could be a danger to her,you might consider putting an expen in the middle of your den. She would be able to see everyone,be part of what is going on and not be able to reach electrical cords. You might let the other dogs take turns with her in the pen.
We have a 15yr old dog here and the senior citizen stuff can be very trying. He weighs almost half of what he used to (big dog), his back hips are almost gone and he is beginning to show nerve damage in his feet (walking on the tops of his back feet),we have to convince him that he is supposed to eat,he gets hand fed twice a day. However he still loves to attempt to play with the little dogs and he still gets very excited about treats.
I hope that you will find a solution so that there will be peace in your home.
