The student assigned to Summer called and she said that Summer is standing up and walking towards people!
She is a trooper for sure. She is eating, too!
She told me that the techs just love her. I am so sure...she has a way of really getting to you with her beautiful eyes and personality in spite of the torture she has endured. What a precious pup.
She said a feeding tube is not going to happen at this point. The surgeon said he has had other cases like this and they do manage to anesthetize them without an issue.
I will update as I hear from them.
