I have learned at least 2 things tonight. #1 sewing is HARD! #2 knotted tulle is thick!! Apparently it takes practice to sew in a straight line. I am not happy with the bodice at all. Given that this is maybe my 6th time ever using a sewing machine, I guess I didn't do too bad. The ocd in me can take the mistakes thought, so I will try another attempt at the bodice. I broke my needle on my sewing machine while trying to sew through the knotted tulle, ARG!
Anywho, here is my first attempt ever at making any type of clothing and maybe my 5th or 6th attempt at using my sewing machine, lol. It didn't photograph very well, it is pink and red tulle.
