A specialist has already looked at Teddy's xray via email, and feels Teddy may have Leggs Perthes disease. However, since Teddy needs to obviously be examined for an accurate analysis, we are taking Teddy for a consultation with a surgeon tomorrow to see if this is in fact Leggs Perthes disease. An area yorkie rescue has given me a referral to a wonderful surgeon that they trust so I know we are in good hands.
Please keep Teddy in your prayers tomorrow as we go for our consult. He is not even three years old yet, and already has been diagnosed with epilepsy and a tremor disorder so thinking there may be more is almost unbearable to me. I am hoping for the best but preparing myself for the worst news. | Poor little Teddy. We will remember him in our prayers (and his mommy). |
